Blood Sugars New Show

Well fellow rockers, Blood Sugar have been back to the rehearsal rooms for the past three months or so and have been working together on perfecting more tight transitions, sound, lights etc to put together a much better experience for Chili Peppers Fans at their gigs. We will be fully back in action in mid June and one of the first gigs is in the recently renovated McHugh's in Drogheda, Co.Louth. Check out our Set List Choice link on the left side of our website and give us your input as to what songs you would like us tp play at our gigs, it is YOU (The Chili Peppers Fans) that choose our set lists. For further news and updates keep checking back here to our site. Chili on guys...!!!!

Stadium Arcadium

Just spent the whole night listening to the Chili Peppers new double album, "Stadium Arcadium" and what an album it is. I read a couple of reviews earlier in the week and they were stating that the album wasn't funky??? How wrong they were, the funk of the old style Chili's is all over this album with a great mixture of guitar sounds all the way through it. Get the album people, you won't regret it, Its exactly what we were all waiting for.

Blood Sugar meet the Chili Peppers in Copenhagen!

Myself (aka Chad) and Padraic (aka Anthony) had the great pleasure of meeting with our heroes backstage before and after a gig in Den Gra Hall, Copenhagen. We got invited by the Chili Peppers website membership, along with roughly 600 others to attend this rather small and very intimate showcase in Denmarks Capitol. It was an absolutely fantastic gig to be at with the Chilis rockin out some of their old stuff and about five songs from their new album, "Stadium Arcadium", which is due for release around the 8th of May this year. We got some really great quality photos of the gig itself but unfotunately for us, some of pics we got from backstage didn't come out too well...:(

Dani California

With Dani California now available on the web,we have a taste of what the Chilis have in store for us this year when Stadium Arcadium is released. What a treat! We are looking forward to rocking those tunes out around the country when The Fitz returns. He will be nice and tanned, so chicks...look out!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blood Sugar five week break

"Fitz the Flea", Blood Sugar's bass player is heading off to the land of oz for a five week stint in search of the wizard he has searched for his whole life, during which time the rest of Blood Sugar will be in the rehearsal getting down 'n' dirty with the new tracks from "Stadium Arcadium" and getting tighter and funkier than ever.
